Degree Level Placements

Prop makers/Set Fabricators:

We offer placement opportunities for degree-level students, who would be expected to join us for the duration of a project. We've forged strong links with universities across the country, welcoming students from Mountview, LIPA, Wimbledon College of Art, RADA, Rose Bruford, University of Derby, and Nottingham Trent University to name just a few.

Feedback from students:

We're keen to be able to offer all placement students a worthwhile experience. We asked a few recent placement students for their feedback about their time with us:

Sarah Armstrong, placement from LIPA

"Out of all the companies I have made contact with and researched so far,

Blunderbus is the one that resonates with me the most. The magic and

excitement of theatre and performance is completely encapsulated by

everything Bill and his wonderful team create."

Sarah Puttock, placement from Nottingham Trent University

"I love this company as it provides the most amazing experiences for children and their families.

I feel so lucky and am really grateful for the time I spent with them."

Andrew Pilbeam-Brown, placement from Nottingham Trent University

"From the moment I stepped foot into the work room I felt instantly part of the team. The

most welcoming bunch of people you could possibly meet, which is always the best

motivation. They get you stuck straight into the creative process, which for a placement

student was really important."

Get in touch

If you would like the opportunity to work alongside our professional team on any future projects,  please do get in touch. You can join us for just a few weeks, or stay for the duration of the project (anything up to 10 weeks). In the first instance, send us an email to introduce yourself, providing an idea of your university placement dates and the area of theatre arts you are most interested in learning more about.

We look forward to hearing from you.
