The Dragon's Daughter

A brand new musical play for children, adapted for the stage by Bill Davies, with music and lyrics by Frank Goodhind

Feb - Dec 2010 (Suitable for ages 4 - 7)

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, stood a tiny village nestled in the shadow of a great mountain. Perched at the top of the mountain, lived a fire-breathing dragon. In the village below, a little boy called Hans spent his days imagining the most fantastic adventures.

Hans would pretend to fight scary monsters and slay fairytale dragons. But one starry night, a ball of light fell from the sky, crashing to the ground with a silent thud. And there, shivering in the darkness, was a real-life baby dragon. Now began the adventure of a lifetime; no more pretending! Could Hans return his new friend to her mother before it was too late, or would Dotty, the tiny dragon perish in the darkness?

Written especially for 4 - 7 year olds, this timeless adventure will whisk you away to a world of magic and make-believe. Incorporating bewitching music, and beautifully hand-carved puppets, this is a gentle and funny tale about a brave little boy with a big imagination, and a scared little dragon with a very big heart.
