Blunderbus Youth Theatre Ensemble (BYTE) forms a training ground for young actors aged 16 - 21 who would like to follow a professional career in theatre. A small number of young people are chosen through audition each year to form our ensemble.  In turn, they have the opportunity to attend residential courses in stagecraft, which are facilitated by Blunderbus professionals.  Our ensemble also have the chance to perform in a number of our professional productions, from shows at the Edinburgh Festival to our mid-scale Christmas show.

If you're interested in becoming a member of our ensemble, places are limited and competition is fierce.  You will be required to demonstrate a commitment to our yearly programme of activities, and you will also have to attend for audition before we can consider you.  In the meantime, please contact our Administrator, Ann Hutchinson, on 01634 818136 who'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
